The Triumph of the Good

“The grace of Jesus does exactly what its critics claim. The melody of rescue charms the heart; relieves the burden; urges trust instead of fear. It offers broken, hopeless humans a song of possibilities against the dark war chorus dirged by paganisms old and new. So we should not be much amazed by all who seek to counter grace. Theirs is the last gasp of an ancient system going down before the power that always liberates. The heart set free to follow Christ has allied with the winner in this final fight. And all that sounds like weeping now will end in shouts of victory. So stay in grace.”
