The Facts of Grace

“The grace of God is filled—actually, overflowing—with His love, but it is never even once permissive. Grace is neither sentimental nor unclear, as though the God of truth could somehow fall short of His own standards of truthfulness. Because the Father sees our desperate situation with such clarity, Jesus became the objective solution to our lostness. Grace tells us God chooses to forget our sins because He also chooses to remember—as only a Father can—the sacrifice of His Son in our place. The Father's mind is filled with Christ, and when we understand the glorious fact of our salvation, our minds will be as well.”
