Liberating Grace

“The most powerful witnesses to the glory of grace are those who can confidently review the cringe-worthy pieces of their past without fear or shame. Their history is a story of redemption, not an archive of ongoing condemnation. While their love may not yet be perfected (1 John 4:18) or their characters fully sanctified, they have grasped the essential and euphoric freedom promised by the gospel. The captives Jesus liberates will celebrate like children—loved sons and daughters of a freedom-loving Father. So stay in grace—and celebrate it.”
