In Grace We Hope

“If you have hope, it's just because you've come to trust God's grace. No Christian ever truly hopes for happiness, salvation, and eternity unless he admits the futility of self-rescue--and the all-sufficiency of Christ. We know the sordid facts of pain and brokenness, and there is nothing hopeful in them. But Jesus lifts our hearts and clears our eyes with visions of a future He alone can offer us. ‘My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness.’ When you have grace, you have it all. So stay in grace.”
