Grace Taught and Caught

We “learn Christ” (Eph 4:20) just like we learn anything really valuable—slowly, and with practice, in the classroom of each day. We bring no genius: no one enters the lab of grace with any human solution for our brokenness and stains. We need teachers—wiser, patient Christians—to help us do the painful math that undoes pride, and unlearn much that once seemed true. Grace is Christ’s never-ending lesson plan delivered through the love of those who are themselves still students, and still sit at His feet. Find someone kind to teach you grace—and then stay in it.
