PAU Lecturers Share With Catholics

Two faculty members from Pacific Adventist University (PAU) in Papua New Guinea, accepted an invitation to speak to a class of trainee priests at the Catholic Theological Institute (CTI) in February.

Senior theology lecturer David Thiele outlined what Seventh-day Adventists believe and gave a brief summary of the history of the Church. PAU affiliation officer Jillian Thiele concluded the presentation with a challenge for everyone to share the love of Christ and demonstrate this love in action.

The CTI lecturer was thrilled with the presentation, saying, “It was far better than the video or handout I was expecting.” One of the goals of PAU’s School of Theology is to cultivate relationships with other church organizations and their training institutions.
