Finding a healthy balance between family obligations and job responsibilities can be challenging for anybody. However, when that job means working at a high-level labor and employment Washington, D.C., law firm, it can be next to impossible. The opportunity to spend more time with her three young children brought Dionne Parker to the General Conference to work as associate general counsel less than one year ago. But at the world headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, she found far more than just time. Adventist Review intern Jimmy Phillips recently sat down with Parker to discuss her latest balancing act: law and religion.--Editors.
