The Rain of Grace

“We can’t expect the latter rain if we refuse the reign of grace. The Lord Himself will take the reins: He pours the Spirit just on those who know their drought from inside out—who hold up empty hands to catch His gift. When like the children we still are, we celebrate His showers of love, we bless the Lord Who blesses us. This is a day for standing in the rain. Our watered souls at last confess that we are loved and fed and washed and led. So stand in grace.”
