The One and Only

“Grace is always a gift, but never simply an option. We aren’t invited—or allowed--to pick the plan that saves us. Just as there is no other name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), so there is no alternative to grace as God’s way of saving us: ‘For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God’ (Eph 2:8). In Jesus on His cross we meet God’s best and only offer: there is no B, C, D, or E. Accept the stark, unwavering reality of God’s amazing choice. And stay in grace.”
