Practicing Grace

“We learn how much the grace of Christ has invaded our thinking and our feeling when we are asked to forgive the inexcusable and love the unlovely. If our grasp of grace is never tested; if we never have to do the difficult work of consciously forgiving an injury, we know of grace only as something theoretical and distant. Practicing the grace of Jesus prepares us to receive even more of His grace, and follow Him more fully. The love that saves us also changes us—praise God! So stay in grace.”
