No Argument With Grace

“We conscientious souls are so afraid of awarding to ourselves cheap grace we rarely find the freedom Jesus died to give us. While shallow hearts forgive themselves for sins not even half-repented of, so many of us miss the unbound happiness of trusting in a Saviour who genuinely loves us. So when we give ourselves to grace, let ‘yes’ be truly ‘yes’—no ‘but,’ no ‘yet,’ no moderating ‘maybe.’ ‘He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ’ (Phil 1:6). Even when we stay in grace, we’re always moving upward.”
