Grace is both a posture and an undying belief in possibility. Grace is Jesus kneeling at the feet of Judas, washing away the stains that could be seen, and willing to the last to wash away what only He could see. Grace always bends toward change and bows toward growth. It trusts relentlessly in peace, and moves unflinchingly toward reconciliation. It doesn’t accept the seeming finality of sin or brokenness, but always points us to the hope that we will one day laugh—relieved—among the saved of all the ages. Stay in grace.
