Following Grace

“Grace and change are footprints visible on each disciple's path, but always in that order. While we are learning how to follow Jesus, we often lead with the wrong foot. Change never earns us anything: grace always changes everything. When we accept what Christ has done for us, we then receive a holy competence for what we once could never do. Assured of His undying grace, we love those previously unloveable; intercede for those we used to think unworthy; and reach for goals we once believed impossible. Our steps are ordered by His love. So stay in grace.”
