Sing Resurrection

The church bells toll the toll of our collective grief. We mourn the Dead. We hide our lamps. We tremble for the terror by night, the arrow by day, the destruction that wastes at noonday and the ninth hour.

But hear—see—feel—the gospel, friends: ‘In Him was life, and the life was the light of all.’ The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not—will not—cannot overcome it. Grace won when Jesus rose. Grace wins as Jesus rises far above all principalities and powers—undefeated—undefeatable—finally victorious. Sing resurrection. Sing ‘hallelujah!’ Stay in grace.
