Hayt named Vice President of Corporate Responsibility for AHS

Adventist Health System (AHS) has named Nancy Hayt
vice president of corporate responsibility—a newly created role—effective Sept.
8, 2014. In this position, she will lead the corporate responsibility
department and 16 regional corporate responsibility officers located at AHS
facilities. This team provides training, resources and guidance on regulatory
matters, compliance and ethics.

responsibility executive to whom Hayt will report. "She is an excellent
advisor to our hospitals and other affiliated health care providers on matters
affected by the health care regulatory environment. I am confident that the
insight and expertise that she brings to her new role will enhance Adventist
Health System's culture of transparency and further benefit the communities we
serve."

Hayt has an extensive background in health care law
that includes experience with Stark and anti-kickback issues, as well as a
variety of health care transactions. Prior to joining Adventist Health System
in 2009, she worked in the corporate and health care departments of the law
firms Fried Frank Harris Shrive & Jacobson in New York; Wiggin & Dana
in New Haven, Conneticut; and Shuffield Lowman in Orlando.

Hayt holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from
Tulane University, and a Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law.

responsibility team," Hayt said. "I have really enjoyed working with
the AHS legal department and serving Florida Hospital during the past five
years, and I am looking forward to transitioning to this new and exciting
role."
