[Main Story]

he Seventh-day Adventist church in the Homu district of the Eastern Highlands is the first of its kind to establish a resource center for evangelism.

The center, located on the campus of a training school for church members, has four wings. The wings will house the administrative office of the district, a branch office of the Voice of Prophecy Bible Correspondence School, a conference room, and a library for church leaders and members.

District director Pastor Joannis Fezamo says the center lacks Bible commentaries, Ellen White books, a computer, and a printer. "We will appreciate anything you can donate."*

The proposed date for the opening of the center is September 9.

The Eastern Highlands has the largest membership--at 64,915--of any of the conferences or missions of the church in the South Pacific. So Adventists there have set themselves an ambitious goal to present 1,000 evangelistic programs this year. They have already presented 696, even after setting aside the first three months of the year for prayer.
