he Adventist Review is bringing out a special issue on Knowing God at the end of May. The 9/11 tragedy was very much back of our minds as we planned it, and we're looking for short vignettes from people who fall into one of the following categories:
a close relative or friend of yours perished or was hurt in the horrible calamity;
you narrowly escaped--whether physically from the building, or because you did not visit or show up for work that day (and are feeling either guilty or grateful or both).
What we want to know is: How did you manage to cope? What were your sources of strength? How did you come to terms with the tragedy? Where are you now? You may deal with any one (or more) of these questions however you wish. Your testimony may bring encouragement and hope. Or it may simply describe your current state of confusion and hurt. Both kinds interest us, so long as they're genuine and honest.
Please note the following specifications: Keep to between 100 and 150 words. Include your name, address, and telephone number. Fill out the form below or send an email to: 911@adventistreview.org, to reach us by April 4.
