A Baker's Dozen of Unique
Seventh-day Adventist Web Ministries

(according to Sean Carney of TAGnet)

Return to Main Story

  • Web Bible provides many versions of the Bible in many languages with a really fast interface. It is the fastest Bible in the Web: http://www.TAGnet.org/bible.
  • Digital Hymnal provides all the Adventist hymns in digital form. The mobile Native American church of Arizona uses the music off the Digital Hymnal in their church services: http://www.TAGnet.org/digitalhymnal.
  • The live broadcasting of NET '98, via 3ABN, brought quite a few baptisms. NET '98 still has people coming in all the time and watching the videos: http://www.net98.org.
  • HopeNet gives away hundreds of Secrets of Peace magazines all over the world each month: http://www.HopeNet.org.
  • Word Sight is a one-stop evangelism center that assists evangelistic efforts. Word Sight also provides "God's Diary," which is the Bible written as a story of God's love: http://www.WordSight.org.
  • Cyberspace Ministry has hundreds of games downloaded from their site weekly, with the Adventist message learned as the games are played: http://www.TAGnet.org/cyberspace.
  • Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN) uses their site to provide information to their viewers, such as programming schedules. One can also view 3ABN online: http://www.3ABN.org .
  • ChristianFreebies.com is a superstore of free Christian materials: http://www.ChristianFreebies.com.
  • The Sermon Illustrator site features word illustrations (not graphics). A lot of people go to it for inspirational materials to include in their sermons and other talks: http://www.TAGnet.org/illustrations.
  • The Arizona Conference of Seventh-day Adventists has put every SDA church and school in Arizona on the Web: http://www.azadventist.com.
  • Adventist World Radio uses TAGnet to distribute their audio files among their stations around the world, thus saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in shipping fees and reducing the turnaround time from possible weeks and even months to minutes for getting their programming distributed! Their site is http://www.awr.org.
  • Another really cool site is Adventists in the News. This site gathers news items from the press around the world and presents them. The site is changing constantly as news happens: http://www.TAGnet.org/adventistsinthenews.
  • LifeTalk Radio broadcasts live radio across our network: http://www.lifetalk.net. The Adventist Review also has a unique ministry through its own Web site: www.adventistreview.org.
