They are a people unique, the Seventh-day Adventists. Like a finely woven tapestry they spread across myriad cultures—wider, farther than any other church or organization on the globe. Throughout this vast fabric three strands predominate: love for God, passion for service, and quality of life.

Adventists are many—very many; but they are one.

This issue seeks to capture the oneness expressed through diverse cultures. Hundreds of Adventists sent the images or words of more than 70 nations. Like the larger design that is the church, this issue itself is a tapestry.
